An intrapreneur is someone who is seeking to build something new while working in an environment that is seeking to maintain status quo.
"I became a legal intrapreneur right out of law school in 1999. My first professional job was part of Verizon's in-house counsel team where I was embedded in the business in order to build services and products that matched the needs of both the business and legal teams. From there my journey has taken me to law firms of all sizes, corporate counsel teams, legal tech companies, and alternative legal service providers. I have helped all of them build business models, service models, or growth/development strategies."
